Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks a Senior ML Engineer to join the Data Science and Machine Learning department. You will partner with data science, data engineering, and platform teams to design, build, and operate scalable AI services, translating models into production systems with strong infrastructure and MLOps.

The role includes mentorship and cross-functional initiatives to advance our AI platform maturity.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Machine Learning, or related field.
• 5+ years building and operating ML solutions in cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience delivering end-to-end ML systems and production infra.
• Proficiency with modern ML tooling, cloud platforms, data pipelines, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end ML systems: data ingestion, feature processing, model training, and serving.
• Deploy scalable AI services for real-time and batch inference.
• Maintain ML infra across cloud environments (EC2, EKS, SageMaker).
• Develop MLOps pipelines, feature stores, and model observability.
• Implement CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code for model lifecycle management.
• Optimize training/inference for cost, latency, and hardware use.
• Monitor production ML systems for accuracy and health.
• Collaborate with data engineering, governance, and security teams.
• Mentor team members on ML engineering and best practices.
• Contribute to initiatives advancing AI platform maturity.

Skills

Master's degree in CS/Software Eng/ML

5+ years ML in cloud environments

Education
