Job summary

SupportFinity™ is seeking an experienced ML engineer to design and build AI systems focusing on NLP, information retrieval, AI agents, LLMs, and multimodal models. You will train, evaluate, and deploy end-to-end ML solutions. The role emphasizes research, production-grade coding, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

A PhD with industry experience and a track record of publications is preferred. Proficiency with Python ML stacks and modern DL libraries is expected in a fast-growth

Qualifications

• BS/MS in CS/Statistics/Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience after BS/MS.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with research and production-grade coding.
• Knowledge of challenges in training ML models and best-practice solutions.
• Familiarity with Transformers, RAG, and MoE.
• Proficiency in data/ML libraries such as pandas, transformers, and torch.
• Hands-on experience training ML systems end-to-end from data curation to deployment.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• PhD with 1+ years of industry experience (preferred).
• Publications in ACL/NAACL/EMNLP/NeurIPS/ICML/ICLR as a key author.
• Experience as an ML engineer in a high-growth environment.
• Expertise includes embeddings, rerankers, multimodal retrieval, QA, reasoning, vector databases, BM25.
• Planning and reasoning in LLMs, multilinguality in LLMs, and NLG evaluation including hallucination detection.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, research, and build AI systems for the Company.
• Train, evaluate, and deploy ML models in NLP, IR, AI Agents, LLMs, and MLMs.
• Improve the quality of the Company's RAG-as-a-service platform, including multilinguality, self-supervised learning, agentic behavior, and hallucination reduction.
• Publish technical blogs, research papers, and patents.
