Job summary

LUZA Group is seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to deploy models into production and maintain ML pipelines. You will collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers, building scalable Python solutions and CI/CD workflows.

You should have 3+ years of professional ML experience, strong Python skills, and comfort with AWS/GCP/Azure. A hybrid work model with 2 days per week in the Lisbon office is available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional ML engineering experience.
• Strong Python development and software design skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and ML deployment.
• Familiar with ML pipelines and MLOps practices.
• Fluent English; Portuguese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploy ML models into production environments.
• Build and support ML-focused CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor production models and metrics.
• Develop clean, scalable Python code.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers.
• Manage model lifecycles and deployments.
• Build MLOps practices from the ground up.
• Deploy and manage ML workloads on cloud platforms.
• Create model-serving APIs with FastAPI or Flask.
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Assist automation of retraining workflows.
