Taboola in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a Sr Machine Learning Engineer on its R&D Team to work on recommendation and ranking algorithms for Realize—Taboola's performance advertising platform serving 600M+ daily active users. You will design and deploy models that impact campaign performance and revenue for advertisers worldwide, with end-to-end ownership from design to production.

This role offers a hybrid work schedule with collaborative teams across geographies and a focus on scalable ML

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in CS, EE, or computational economics.
• 5+ years of hands-on Python and Java experience.
• Proficient with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and recommender systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement predictive models for targeting and personalization.
• Develop production-grade ML systems end-to-end: design, build, ship, measure, and maintain.
• Build evaluation harnesses and benchmarks to ensure safe, repeatable model delivery.
• Collaborate across teams and align with product and data infrastructure.
• Present findings to product and tech leads with clear, actionable insights.
• Populate data pipelines using Hadoop/Spark and data from Kafka/SQL.
