Job summary

Xenon7 is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead production ML systems across life sciences clients. You will own architecture, model integration APIs, and scalable MLOps pipelines in a hybrid Indianapolis setting.

You will work with process engineers, biologists, and platform teams to deploy low-latency ML services, ensure governance, and drive operational excellence in regulated environments. 3 days onsite per week, regional travel possible.

Qualifications

• Senior-level proficiency (10–20+ years) in software engineering, MLOps, and production ML systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain production-grade MLOps pipelines and infrastructure.
• Operationalize ML models into OT and API manufacturing workflows.
• Build low-latency, high-throughput serving architectures for live production apps.
• Establish enterprise MLOps standards, governance, and CI/CD across the ML lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists to translate needs into production solutions.
