Job summary

Axon Enterprise is hiring for a senior engineering-focused data scientist/engineer role focused on TASER data science. The team builds dashboards, metrics, and automated recommendations, deploying ML models to production with strong monitoring and governance.

You’ll own pipelines from device telemetry to analytics interfaces and drive technical direction across the stack. You will collaborate with researchers and product partners to ship reliable data products, explore new ML tooling, and help

Qualifications

• You write production code at a high standard — strongly typed, comprehensively tested, maintainable.
• You’ve deployed and operated ML systems in production with monitoring and reliability.
• You shape technical roadmaps and influence peers and direction.
• You define problems and adapt as requirements evolve.
• You’ve worked with real-world messy data: device logs or similar.
• Hands-on ML production tooling and cloud data platforms are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship data products: dashboards, metrics, and recommendations.
• Own production ML deployment from research to production with monitoring.
• Create data pipelines from device telemetry to analytics surfaces.
• Set technical direction for engineering practices and code quality.
• Work across full stack from ingestion to user-facing analytics.
• Incorporate AI tools as a core development workflow.
