Job summary

Truemed enables health and wellness merchants to accept HSA/FSA funds by determining product eligibility for pretax spending. We are a Series A startup supporting brands like Peloton, focused on helping people invest in healthy habits.

You will run hypothesis-driven experiments, iterate on classifiers with prompting, retrieval, and fine-tuning, and ship winning models to production. You’ll turn misclassifications into next experiments, driving accuracy improvements across the system.

Qualifications

• 5+ years engineering experience; 2+ years with LLMs/ML.
• Rigorous experimentation with clear hypotheses and baselines.
• Python fluency and ownership from experiment to production.
