Truemed is transforming how health and wellness merchants process pretax spending with ML-powered product classification. As a Senior ML Engineer, you will run experiments, build classifiers, and push winning models to production, collaborating with clinical ops and legal teams to convert eligibility standards into verifiable systems.

Competenze

• 5+ years of engineering or applied research experience with ML models.
• Hands-on work with LLMs on real problems.
• Track record of rigorous experiments with clear hypotheses and baselines.
• Fluency in Python and ability to push experiments to production.
• Experience with prompting, fine-tuning, retrieval, or agent design on foundation models.
• Public evidence of experiments (paper, open-source ML work, or technical write-up).

Mansioni

• Run experiments to improve classification accuracy and ship winners to production.
• Design and iterate classifiers across prompting, retrieval, fine-tuning, and multi-model approaches.
• Analyze misclassifications to identify failure modes and design follow-up experiments.
• Extend evaluation sets and metrics, labeling ground truth.
• Track new models and research, test models that affect accuracy or cost.
• Expand classification coverage to new product categories.
• Identify new applications for models and prototype them.
• Collaborate with clinical ops and legal teams to convert standards into labeled data and testable behavior.
