Ovations Technologies in South Africa is seeking a senior AI platform engineer to design, prototype and build next-generation analytic engines. You will productionise AI models and services, deploy GenAI solutions, and collaborate with data scientists to deliver business-ready solutions.

The role focuses on deploying, monitoring and scaling AI applications on Databricks and AKS, utilizing Docker, Kubernetes and MLOps practices to ensure robust, secure production systems.

• Strong expertise in AI/ML model productionisation and deployment.
• Experience with Databricks, AKS and cloud-native AI platforms.
• Proven track record delivering scalable AI solutions.

Mansioni

• Productionise, deploy and monitor ML models and data pipelines on Databricks.
• Build, deploy and support AI Agents, GenAI apps and RAG solutions on Databricks.
• Develop reusable ML pipelines using MLOps incl CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring and governance.
• Deploy, optimise and manage AI models on AKS and Azure cloud.
• Design APIs and microservices to expose AI capabilities to business apps.
• Implement containerised solutions with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor performance, drift and operational health in production.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to productionise prototypes.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with AI, Databricks, Kubernetes and cloud technologies.
