Job summary

Uber’s Consumer Incentives team is building AI-powered optimizations to improve consumer experiences across grocery and food verticals. This Senior Machine Learning Engineer role is based in New York, NY (onsite) and covers end-to-end ML product development from scoping to production deployment and post-launch maintenance.

You will design and deploy scalable systems, collaborate with product, operations and data science, and own projects end-to-end with strong ownership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Math or related field; 4+ years of full-time engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Go or Java.
• Experience building and productionizing end-to-end ML systems.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ownership to drive projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Architect and launch products that drive consumer experience and business outcomes.
• Own full project lifecycles from scoping to post-launch maintenance.
• Design, tune and scale systems and algorithms for production.
