Job summary

WWC Global, an operating firm of Command Holdings, seeks a Machine Learning Engineer to support USSOCOM's mission of transforming the SOF Enterprise into a data-centric organization. You will apply scientific methods to extract actionable insights from structured and unstructured data.

Responsibilities include designing, deploying, and maintaining ML models, developing NLP/LLM/RAG solutions, and building end-to-end ML pipelines while ensuring compliance with security and governance policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/AI/Math or related field.
• Five+ years in ML engineering or data science with hands-on model lifecycle experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Excellent English communication and client focus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain ML models and AI-enabled systems supporting SOF data analysis.
• Develop ML algorithms including NLP, CV, LLMs, RAG, and decision-making models.
• Build and manage end-to-end ML pipelines: data ingestion, feature engineering, training, validation, deployment, monitoring.
• Conduct AI/ML modeling and simulations to test outcomes and inform decisions.
• Implement MLOps practices for scalable, auditable model development and deployment.
• Perform suitability assessments and define clear task specifications before development.
• Ensure LLM/RAG work complies with security and data governance policies.
• Collaborate with SOF stakeholders to demonstrate capabilities via campaigns of learning.
• Address edge-case constraints like low bandwidth and contested environments early.
