Job summary

Robinhood in Menlo Park, CA and Bellevue, WA is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer for the AI R&D team. Design, build, and deploy personalization and recommendation models powering core products like growth, social feeds, and search.

You will collaborate with product, data engineering, and platform teams, lead zero-to-one ML initiatives, and explore agentic systems and LLM fine-tuning while upholding data quality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer with production-ready models.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship end-to-end personalization, ranking, and recommendation systems powering core Robinhood products including growth, social feeds, and search.
• Partner closely with product, data engineering, and platform teams to define technical strategy, scope complex projects, and drive execution across multiple workstreams.
• Lead zero-to-one development of new ML capabilities in a fintech environment with high data quality and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate, experiment with, and integrate modern AI paradigms including agentic workflows and LLM fine-tuning into existing ML systems.
• Set the technical bar through architecture reviews, code reviews, and mentorship.
