Job summary

CCC Intelligent Solutions Inc. in Chicago seeks a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to own models and evaluations end to end for auto casualty AI products.

You'll work in a small, senior group building AI-native solutions for medical bills, claims decision support, and rules tooling, using real claims data. You'll combine statistical modeling with LLM evaluation, shipping production code and measuring impact, with a focus on building impactful AI to accelerate insurance workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL, and a track record of taking models to production and measuring performance.
• Excellent foundation in statistics, probability, experiment design.
• Experience with ML and LLM-based approaches (RAG, embeddings) and evaluating outputs.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship statistical, ML, and hybrid LLM models on real claims data.
• Design evaluations and gold datasets with data labelers and subject matter experts, and run them continuously as product changes.
• Measure impact through experiments, baselines, ROI analyses, and clearly present results to product, sales, and customers.
