Job summary

Bumble Inc. is seeking a senior ML leader to define and execute the technical strategy for AI and machine learning across its products.

You will design, deploy, and scale production models, build AI agents with LLMs, and drive end-to-end ML pipelines while mentoring senior contributors and promoting responsible AI. Qualifications

10–15+ years of ML experience with production systems.
Deep expertise in ML with large-scale deployments.
Proficient in Python and major ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
Experience prompting and fine-tuning LLMs and building AI agents.
Design scalable data/ML pipelines using Spark, Airflow, or similar tools.
Influences technical strategy as a senior contributor without direct authority.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and ownership of outcomes.

Responsibilities

Define and lead the technical strategy for AI/ML across Bumble products.
Design, develop, and deploy production-grade models at scale.
Build production AI agents using LLMs and sub-agents.
Architect end‑to‑end ML pipelines integrating data processing with training and deployment.
Drive experiments, A/B testing, and offline evaluation to improve models.
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data leadership to translate challenges into ML solutions.
Mentor senior contributors and foster a culture of Excellence and learning.
Own complex problems from insight to impact with agile mindset.
Champion responsible AI focusing on fairness, transparency, and safety.
