Job summary

Quality Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a Mixing Technician to join our manufacturing team in Puerto Rico and the USA. The role involves weighing and mixing drugs, operating sterilization equipment, and ensuring adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and GDP standards.

You will perform routine maintenance and calibration of sterilization vessels, document production activities, and collaborate with the Plant Pharmacist for sampling and release.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in sterilization operations, manufacturing, mechanical maintenance, or pharmaceutical/medical device environments.
• Experience operating, loading, and unloading sterilization vessels/equipment.
• Knowledge of cGMP, cSOPs, cGDPs, safety regulations, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Ability to follow SOPs, safety procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices consistently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and respond to equipment issues promptly.
• Willingness to work Wednesday-Sunday & overtime on 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Mixing and weighing raw materials according to procedures.
• Operate, start, and adjust mixing machines and valves.
• Monitor automatic mixing equipment and maintain records.
• Conduct sampling and coordinate with the Plant Pharmacist as required.
• Perform routine area audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot daily quality and material issues to support product release.
• Perform drug inventory head counts and maintain clean, inspection-ready areas.
• Work independently or in a team to complete projects.
