Job summary

Quality Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a Mixing Technician to join our team in Puerto Rico/USA. The role involves weighing and mixing raw materials, operating mixing equipment, and ensuring adherence to cGMP and related regulations.

You will perform sampling, record keeping, and routine audits while supporting manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment. A degree in a related field is required, with sterilization experience highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in sterilization operations, manufacturing, mechanical maintenance, or pharmaceutical/medical device environments.
• Experience operating, loading, and unloading sterilization vessels/equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on sterilizers and related equipment.
• Knowledge of cGMP, cSOPs, cGDPs, safety regulations, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Ability to follow SOPs, safety procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and respond to equipment issues promptly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety, and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading sterilization equipment.

Responsibilities

• Mixing and weighing raw materials according to procedures.
• Operate and adjust mixing machines and valves to meet specs.
• Conduct hydrolysis and prepare mixtures for final processing.
• Maintain equipment and monitor automatic mixing systems.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, cGMP, CFR, and GDP.
• Complete production records accurately and identify documentation errors.
• Perform sample coordination with the Plant Pharmacist as required.
• Conduct routine area audits for regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot daily quality and material issues to support product release.
• Work flexible shifts including weekends, OT, or on-call schedules.
