Polaris Electro-Optics, Inc. is seeking a Senior/Principal Hardware Engineer to own mixed-signal, power and control electronics for next-generation optical interconnect platforms.

The role spans PCB design, analog monitoring and control, power architecture, data-conversion interfaces, and hardware bring-up. You will collaborate with software, photonics, packaging and systems teams to develop robust electrical control platforms for photonic devices, drivers, TIAs, heaters and power management.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in mixed-signal PCB design and board bring-up.
• Experience designing low-noise analog measurement circuitry.
• Familiarity with ADC/DAC interfaces and power-management circuits.
• Proficiency with SPI, I2C, UART and related interfaces.
• Strong lab skills with oscilloscopes, DMMs and power supplies.

Aufgaben

• Architect and design mixed-signal PCBs for optical interconnect hardware.
• Design multi-channel DAC-based heater and bias-control circuitry.
• Develop low-noise analog readout for sensors and monitoring.
• Define power sequencing, regulation, telemetry and fault monitoring.
• Select ADCs, DACs, regulators and related components.
• Define hardware interfaces for MCUs and photonic devices.
• Collaborate with firmware to define registers and telemetry.
• Bring up and debug boards across analog, digital and power domains.
• Support integration of photonic devices and drivers.
