Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Senior Mixed Signal Design Engineer to join our Digital Controls & Mixed Signal Engineering team. You will architect and develop advanced mixed-signal electronics that enable MR imaging technologies.

This is a hands-on leadership role spanning analog and digital interfaces, embedded processing, power electronics, and system integration. You will lead hardware design activities, own schematic capture and board bring-up, and collaborate with FPGA, firmware, software,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of mixed-signal hardware design experience.
• Experience with boards containing processors, FPGAs, analog circuitry, and interfaces.
• Strong understanding of analog/digital electronics, power systems, signal conditioning.
• Experience with schematic capture, board bring-up, troubleshooting, and lab verification.
• Experience with interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, USB, SPI, I2C, UART, PCIe.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, implementation, and verification of mixed-signal hardware for MR platforms.
• Design and develop boards with processors, FPGAs, analog circuits, and power management.
• Own schematic capture, design reviews, bring-up, debugging, and system integration.
• Define interfaces between hardware, FPGA, firmware, software, and mechanical subsystems.
• Perform circuit analysis, simulation, laboratory characterization, and root-cause investigation.
• Support PCB layout, signal integrity, power integrity, EMC, reliability, and manufacturability reviews.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across programs.
• Support products through lifecycle from concept to manufacturing and field support.
