Qualifications

• B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related technical field.
• 8+ years in ground systems architecture, spacecraft operations, requirements, or CCSDS standards.
• Experience across a complex system lifecycle from requirements to operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, derive, develop, and maintain mission systems requirements with traceability and verification approach.
• Define ground element and external interface requirements and ICDs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across flight vehicle systems, ground software, operations, and customers.
• Define ground system and mission operations architectures for real-time and store-and-forward ops.
• Plan and perform product update cycles, integration and test activities, and validation exercises.
• Conduct testing of ground system functionality and measure performance against requirements.
• Perform flight software to ground system integration and test.
• Analyze operability across space-ground system and drive improvements as needed.
• Ensure mission system requirements align with NASA and CCSDS standards for civil deep space missions.
