Job summary

Boeing in Daytona Beach, Florida seeks a Lead Mission Systems Electronic Systems Design and Analysis Engineer. The role involves translating requirements into system architectures, and designing hardware/software for mission systems in defense programs. The engineer will test, validate, and support fielded systems throughout their lifecycle.

Requirements include a BS in Engineering and 9+ years of related experience (or 12+ with MS, 14+ with BA). Strong MBSE and Jira experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• Level 5 experience: 14+ years with bachelor, 12+ with master, 9+ with PhD.
• Experience with electronic system design and testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply job practices, techniques, standards and concepts.
• Develop, document and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Create statement-of-work and technical performance specifications.
• Translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs.
• Test and validate designs to meet operational requirements.
• Resolve product integration issues and production anomalies.
• Support fielded hardware and software over the product life cycle.
• Investigate emerging technologies for future designs.
• Monitor supplier performance for system integration.
