Job summary

ACT-SACT in Norfolk, VA seeks an experienced Security Coordinator for mission security operations and event planning. You will lead risk assessments, coordinate with local authorities and intelligence partners, and deliver tailored security briefs for high-profile travel and multinational events.

The role requires a track record in OSINT, risk management, and secure event execution, with NATO SECRET clearance and advanced MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Experience planning, coordination and execution of security operations for high-profile events or multinational operations.
• Proven ability to plan, manage and execute security measures for major events with VIPs or large international operations.
• Certification in Risk Management (e.g., PMP, CRMP) or equivalent security qualification is required.
• Ability to collect, analyze and interpret OSINT and other sources to inform risk and incident reports.
• Proven ability to brief and coordinate with senior leadership and external security agencies.
• Proficiency in English per STANAG 6001 or equivalent is required.
• Active NATO SECRET or higher clearance is mandatory throughout the period of performance.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, security databases, and collaborative tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyse reports to identify high-risk destinations and travel location risks for HQ SACT personnel.
• Collect and analyze security information from multiple sources to assess risks ahead of travel.
• Provide comprehensive security briefings tailored to missions and events.
• Develop security plans for high-risk events ensuring compliance with NATO policies.
• Perform risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
• Lead site surveys and produce actionable security reports and mitigations.
