Job summary

DS2 is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and demonstrate feature-rich applications for mission planning and warfighter support. You will work on open, next-generation systems and translate strategic visions into practical software features.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a software field and 9 years of experience, with strong C#/Java/JS/TS skills and experience in modern web frameworks. U.S. citizenship and a government background check are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science and 9 years of experience.
• Proficiency in C#, Java, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with web frameworks such as React, Node.js, Vue.js, Next.js, ASP.NET or Angular.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a government background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and demonstrate feature-rich applications and R&D projects.
• Contribute to Next-Generation Open Mission Planning System for the DoW.
• Translate long-term project visions into detailed features and feasible designs.
• Develop architectural runway for large-scale solutions.
• Learn emerging technologies to keep the team equipped.
