Job summary

Raytheon, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Senior Mission Planning Engineer in Tucson to join the Mission Planning Section. You will contribute to concept of operations from mission planning to weapon employment, supporting programs and opportunities.

On-site role with travel to flight tests and collaboration across IPTs. Ideal candidates will have a STEM degree, 5+ years of related experience, and expertise in mission planning, software development, and systems engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance required before start date.
• Experience with cross-platform .NET backend web apps for cloud deployment.

Responsibilities

• Become the 'go-to' source for mission planning expertise.
• Travel to witness flight tests and provide onsite support.
• Develop common mission planning solutions across programs, captures and IRADs.
