Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Missouri seeks a Principal Mission Planner to join our team supporting the B-2 program at Whiteman AFB. The role involves aircraft and spacecraft mission planning, routing, contingency logic, and training development to meet customer objectives.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree with extensive related experience or equivalent, willingness to deploy, and a current Top Secret/SCI eligibility. Travel and occasional overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6 years' related work experience as aircrew member, intelligence officer, or weapons background, or 10 years' experience in these fields may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Willing to travel and deploy to deployed locations as required.
• Current Active Top Secret level security clearance and ability to attain program clearance and SCI as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Mission Planner for B-2 Operational Mission Planning Support Services at Whiteman AFB, MO.
• Plan and execute mission planning operations for long-range strike using the B-2 Spirit weapons system.
• Ensure configuration of operational computer systems, system monitors, and subsystem performance.
• Provide tactical expertise to aircrew customers and the 509th Bomb Wing.
• Deploy as required to provide mission planning services at deployed locations.
