Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Edwards, CA, seeks a Sr. Principal Test Conductor - Mission Planner to lead mission planning for developmental flight tests and drive pre/post-mission execution.

You will collaborate with maintenance, design, and test teams on unmanned systems using JMPS/PFPS/AFMSS. Requires active Top Secret clearance; a Bachelor’s with 8+ years in mission planning or an advanced degree with related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years experience in mission planning in operations, flight test or training environment
• Master's degree with 6+ years experience in mission planning in operations, flight test or training environment
• Ph.D. with 4+ years experience in mission planning in operations, flight test or training environment
• Experience with mission planning, execution and debriefing

Responsibilities

• Create test article mission plans and routing for developmental efforts
• Provide pre/post mission support planning and documentation
• Review and evaluate test requirements for completeness and feasibility
• Provide laboratory support for integration testing
• Interface with design/analysis teams to define test configurations/data
• Support test card development and review with engineering and test ops
• Support test readiness reviews and pre/post-test briefings
• Conduct pre/post data analyses and maintain testing metrics
• Act as focal point between maintenance, design engineering and test teams
