True Anomaly seeks a Staff Mission Network Engineer to deploy and operate classified networks across on-site and cloud environments in the U.S. This senior role requires hands-on work in both field and cloud settings, ensuring secure and compliant network operations.

The candidate will manage NSA Type 1 devices, coordinate RMF/ATO activities, and work with cross‑functional teams to maintain mission tempo in DoD programs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on network engineering in classified DoD/IC environments.
• Active Secret clearance; ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level III certification.
• Deep IP networking: routing, switching, QoS, boundary protection.
• Experience with RMF, ATO, and STIG implementations.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and operate classified terrestrial and cloud networks across U.S. sites.
• Implement AWS GovCloud configurations, VPCs, transit gateways, and security controls.
• Collaborate with ISSEs and cloud engineers to meet program security requirements.
• Deploy NSA Type 1 cryptographic devices and manage KEYMAT handling.
• Maintain documentation: topology diagrams, as-built configs, security artifacts.
• Support RMF activities, STIG validation, and ATO preparation.
• Ensure network designs meet DoD APL/TAA and NIST SP 800-53 controls.
