Job summary

Lockheed Martin Enterprise Operations is seeking a network engineering professional for Space programs based in Sunnyvale, CA. The role focuses on designing, securing, and maintaining complex classified networks, including switches, routers, firewalls, and SDN components.

You will collaborate with program managers and IT staff to ensure mission-critical network reliability while adhering to STIG/RMF requirements and security standards. On-site work with regional travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Must have active DoD clearance and be able to obtain TS clearance.
• Experience with Cisco or Juniper networking equipment and security hardening.
• Current DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or III certification required within 120 days.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to the work facility.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, secure, harden, remediate and upgrade network devices.
• Troubleshoot, test, and decommission network hardware and software components.
• Maintain STIG and RMF compliance for classified networks.
• Coordinate with program managers, IT staff, and security personnel.
