Ursa Major is seeking a Senior Mission Integration Engineer in Colorado to serve as the on-site technical expert for propulsion integration, testing and flight. You will act as the primary customer liaison, manage contract and ICD compliance, and lead integration reviews while supporting test and flight campaigns.

The role requires hands-on aerospace hardware experience, strong communication with customers, and willingness to travel up to 30% of the year in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Willing to travel up to 30% annually.
• Hands-on rocket engine experience and hardware troubleshooting.
• Strong communication with customers and program stakeholders.
• Ability to work on-site in Colorado and travel as needed.

Responsabilités

• Manage customer contract execution starting at engine build and delivery.
• Serve as day-to-day point of contact for the customer’s program manager and propulsion lead.
• Lead customer status updates and milestone reviews for programmatic and technical content.
• Present and provide technical review in customer meetings and integration reviews.
• Ensure ICD compliance from Ursa and Customers.
• Become subject matter expert on vehicle propulsion systems and Ursa engines.
• Travel to customer sites and lead engine integration, supporting checkouts and flight campaigns.
• Review data from engine tests to support customer campaigns.
• Troubleshoot engine hardware issues and lead implementation of solutions.
