Job summary

Trusted Space, LLC seeks a Senior Principal Mission Engineer (Scenarios) to design, develop, and verify space-ground simulations for the SDA T3 tracking mission. You will build GRMs/DRMs, run analyses, and deliver data packages to inform government decisions.

The role demands a seasoned professional with space/DoD program experience, strong modeling tools proficiency, and excellent communication in a hybrid Chantilly, VA environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s with long track record in system engineering for space/DoD programs.
• OPIR or space-based ISR experience highly desired.
• Experience coordinating across space and ground segments to meet end-to-end requirements.
• Strong modeling, simulation, and mission analysis skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with government and industry teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop model scenarios (GRM/DRMs) and simulations for capability assessments.
• Review government scenarios for consistency with tasks.
• Develop and present performance analyses and trades for space concepts.
• Integrate performance models with MBSE tools.
• Quantify performance impacts with CONOPS/ threats changes.
• Prepare data packages for government decision makers.
• Collaborate with prime contractors, government civilians, and SDA staff.
