Job summary

Lunar Outpost seeks a Lead Mission Director to plan, prepare, and execute LTV missions in a high-stress, real-time environment. You will guide a multi-discipline team, develop flight plans, and enforce flight rules to ensure crew and vehicle safety and mission success.

The role requires extensive spaceflight operations expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to navigate complex programmatic constraints while coordinating with NASA and internal teams.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years in spaceflight mission operations with technical leadership.
• Experience integrating preflight design, procedures, and real-time execution.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary engineering and mission operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Make real-time mission execution decisions during LTV ops for Artemis missions to safeguard crew and vehicle safety and mission success.
• Lead a flight operations team and manage risk in high-value spaceflight missions.
• Serve as primary Mission Operations POC coordinating Systems Engineering, AI&T, and Program Office.
