Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Quality and Configuration Manager to support GEOAxIS Next (GxNext) in Chantilly, VA. The role focuses on QA, CM, and process improvement to sustain secure ICAM services across security domains.

You will lead inspections, audits, and metric-driven governance while advancing CI/CD pipelines, TPB alignment, and baseline CSCI publication. A TS/SCI clearance and hands-on experience with Agile teams are expected.

Qualifications

BS degree with 8 years prior relevant experience or MS with 6 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience implementing quality management and performance monitoring within Agile development teams.
Experience configuring build automation tools and Git workflows (Java/Node) and SharePoint/Confluence/JIRA.
Configuration management implementation for software development teams and licenses.
Collaborate with team to establish project processes across management, technical and support areas.
Continuous improvement mindset with data-driven problem solving for product/mission objectives.
Clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to multi-task in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop QA & CM inspections strategies with PM for product integrity and execution discipline.
Identify and monitor predictive metrics-based data collection and analysis.
Perform inspections and audits on program plans, products and verification practices.
Develop, implement and maintain QA & CM plans and the software configuration management process.
Define standards and procedures for inspecting and evaluating product performance.
Identify failure trends and verify design/functionality across the lifecycle.
Lead product inspections and quality audits to identify delivery risks in advance.
Improve and maintain CMMI compliance with the Tailored Process Baseline (TPB).
Improve and sustain CM for software releases/patches and documentation.
Publish baseline CSCI including source code, service docs, and installation scripts.
Execute timely quality inspections and audits prior to approvals and delivery.
Generate corrective action requests and manage the CAD with closures.
Collaborate with PM and QEC to address quality and configuration risks.
Lead automation roadmap and CI/CD improvements with program team.
Coordinate baseline changes with stakeholders and troubleshoot build processes.
Maintain materials for Configuration Control Board and related briefings.
