Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Program Manager Mission Assurance 2 to support the Global Mission Solutions unit in Baltimore, MD. The role oversees quality across deliverables, mentors quality engineers, and interfaces with the customer quality organization to ensure timely, compliant deliveries.

The ideal candidate has a Secret clearance, 8+ years in quality/engineering, RCCA/8D experience, and a background with government contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of quality, engineering or manufacturing work experience; Master’s with 6 years; Associates with 10 years.
• Experience working with Government agencies.
• Experience in RCCA or 8D activities.
• Able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and program functions to ensure quality standards are in place and program quality is controlled.
• Oversees a team of quality engineers to facilitate on time, compliant deliveries.
• Aids the team in performing statistical analysis to assess cost and responsibility for non-conforming products or materials.
• Serve as the program interface to the customer quality organization and ensure corrective actions meet reliability standards.
