Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Principal Mission Assurance Engineer for locations in Clearfield, Utah; Cheyenne (WY); or Great Falls (MT). The role oversees inspection authority, reviews test plans, and coordinates corrective actions on the RVA CLS contract within the ICBM-Sustainment program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree AND 5 years of related experience, OR Master’s Degree and 3 years of related experience.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance; investigation date within 6 years.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and non-destructive inspection techniques.
• Excellent oral and written communication, data analysis and problem solving skills.
• Familiarity with AS9100

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and delegate inspection authority in the field.
• Audit processes in field and remote locations.
• Review and approve test plans and engineering changes.
• Witness testing and integration activities.
• Coordinate nonconformance resolution and corrective action investigations.
