Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Principal Mission Assurance Engineer for locations including Clearfield, UT; Cheyenne, WY; or Great Falls, MT. The role supports the Sentinel program and may offer relocation assistance.

Responsibilities include coordinating inspection authority, auditing processes, and approving test plans, with a 9/80 work schedule. Requirements include a BS with 5+ years or MS with 3+ years, US citizenship, DoD Secret clearance, and knowledge of inspection techniques,

Qualifications

• US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and non-destructive inspection techniques.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.
• Excellent oral and written communication, data analysis and problem solving skills.
• Familiarity with AS9100.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and delegation of inspection authority in the field.
• Audit of various processes in the field and remotely.
• Review and approve test plans and engineering changes.
• Witness testing and integration activities.
• Coordinate nonconformance resolution and corrective action investigations.
