Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Mission Assurance Engineer to support the Sentinel program. This full-time role is located in Clearfield, Utah, Cheyenne, WY or Great Falls, MT and offers a robust benefits package and a 9/80 work schedule.

The candidate will coordinate inspection authority, audit processes, review test plans and engineering changes, witness testing, and drive nonconformance resolution. A DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• US citizenship with active DoD Secret Clearance within 6 years.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and non-destructive inspection techniques.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.
• Excellent oral and written communication, data analysis and problem solving.
• Familiarity with AS9100.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and delegation of inspection authority in the field.
• Audit of various processes (field and remote) and review of test plans and engineering changes.
• Witness testing and integration activities.
• Coordinate nonconformance resolution and corrective action investigations.
