Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing company, seeks a Mission Analysis Engineer to lead modeling, simulation, and validation across satellite programs. You will design CONOPS/DRMs, develop sensor data processing, and drive end-to-end simulations with software/hardware-in-the-loop collaboration.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with extensive experience in aerospace simulations, and U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. Location is on-site in El Segundo, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 14+ years' related work experience or equivalent
• 7+ years' experience in modeling and simulation of complex aerospace systems using Matlab/Simulink, Python, or C++
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (Top Secret) post-start

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain simulations for large satellite constellations to assess mission requirements
• Own EO/IR image processing algorithms chain from photon to Warfighter
• Create models for space vehicle payloads for system trades and performance predictions
• Develop novel algorithms and data processing schemes for MW/MT, RPO, and SDA systems
• Architect CONOPS/DRM and their simulations
• Collaborate with software/firmware teams to deploy simulation platforms (HIL)
