Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, is seeking a Mission Analysis Engineer to lead modeling, simulation, and analysis for space programs. You will serve as the Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for end-to-end mission modeling and provide tools for validating on-orbit performance.

You will develop methods to simulate mission scenarios, design image processing, state estimation, and optimal control algorithms for sensor systems, and collaborate with leadership to ensure timely,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience in modeling and simulation of complex satellite systems using MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or C++.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain simulations for large satellite constellations to assess effectiveness against mission requirements.
• Own EO/IR image processing algorithms chain, from photon to Warfighter.
• Create models for space vehicle payloads to use in system trades and performance predictions.
• Develop novel algorithms, models, and data processing schemes for EO/IR sensing and tracking systems.
• CONOPS/DRM development, modeling, and simulation.
• Collaborate with software and firmware teams to develop platforms for simulation deployment (software/hardware-in-the-loop).
