Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Principal Simulation Analysis Engineer for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. The team develops high-fidelity missile simulations and decision-support tools used by the warfighter.

Ideal candidates have STEM degrees and experience in MATLAB/Python, C/C++/Java, AI/ML, or HPC, with the ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. security clearance. This is an on-site position within the ISMA center and Operations & Mission Analysis Department.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with extensive relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB or Python.
• Experience in two or more of: systems engineering life cycle; software development with C/C++/Java; AI/ML or surrogate modeling; HPC.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and utilize high-fidelity digital simulation software in advanced computing environments.
• Lead trade studies to assess system performance across threats and kill chain scenarios.
• Evaluate and improve methods to determine next system improvements and countermeasures.
• Collaborate with team members to implement analytic approaches guiding program decisions.
• Develop, validate, and test model-based solutions powering real-time decision aids.
