Job summary

PeopleTec, Inc. is seeking a Missile Defense Systems Analyst – Architecture and Assessment to support the Fort Belvoir, VA area.

The role focuses on next-generation architecture analysis and system-of-systems assessments, evaluating concepts, sensor and interceptor performance, and C2 options using advanced modeling and simulation tools such as the GTRI Benchmark model and AFSIM. Qualifications

• Minimum of 10-15+ years relevant experience.
• Proven experience in systems engineering supporting missile defense or other complex defense systems.
• Expertise with GTRI Benchmark OR AFSIM modeling environments.
• Strong understanding of MDA system architectures and experience performing analysis to assess potential performance.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have a Secret clearance upon hire and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform architecture trade studies, system performance assessments and capability gap analyses for missile defense systems and future integrated architectures.
• Utilize Benchmark model to simulate ballistic and hypersonic threat engagements and evaluate system performance across multiple mission threads.
• Develop and execute analysis scripts and data post-processing routines using MATLAB and other analytical tools.
• Integrate modeling and simulation results from AFSIM, Benchmark or other environments to inform architecture design decisions.
