Job summary

PeopleTec is seeking a Systems Engineer / Analyst to support next-generation missile defense architecture analysis and system-of-systems assessments at Fort Belvoir, VA. You will evaluate architecture concepts, sensor and interceptor performance and C2 options using MATLAB, the GTRI Benchmark model, and/or AFSIM, and perform architecture trade studies and capability gap analyses.

The position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5–10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in missile defense or complex defense systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform architecture trade studies and system performance assessments for missile defense systems.
• Utilize Benchmark model to simulate threat engagements and evaluate performance across mission threads.
• Develop analysis scripts and data post-processing using MATLAB and analytical tools.
• Integrate results from AFSIM, Benchmark, or other environments to inform architecture design decisions.
