Job summary

AMAX Engineering Corporation in Fremont, CA seeks a Senior MIS/SAP Manager to lead the Global Support team, overseeing the development, implementation and optimization of MIS to support business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and drive improvements.

The role requires SAP S/4HANA and SQL Server experience, plus vendor management. The position offers a competitive salary; final compensation is based on skills and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar professional field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing MIS or software teams.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in database design/ERP/MRP for ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with PeopleSoft is a plus.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead MIS team to develop and maintain global information systems to support organizational objectives.
• Translate user requirements into database and software design.
• Understand business processes and implement new features accordingly.
• Create project plans from internal users and customers.
• Identify root causes and plan overall process improvements.
• Resolve customer support issues.
• Set up training and knowledge sharing within the MIS team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend integration or automation.
• Define project objectives, deliverables, and metrics.
