Job summary

AMAX Engineering Corporation in Fremont, CA seeks a senior MIS/Software team lead to drive SAP S/4HANA deployment, migration, and global information systems development. You will translate user needs into robust database and application designs and own end-to-end SAP integration initiatives.

The role requires strong PM skills, excellent communication, and substantial experience with SAP deployments and ERP/MRP design.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar professional field.
Minimum 5 years of MIS/Software team management experience.
Minimum 7 years database/application design and/or implementation experience in ERP/MRP.
SAP Deployment experience is a must.
Prior experience with SAP S/4HANA end-to-end process integration.
PeopleSoft experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead the deployment and development of SAP S/4HANA.
Lead and own the migration and integration from legacy system to SAP S/4HANA.
Lead the MIS team to develop and maintain global information systems to support organizational objectives.
Translate and map user requirements into database and software application design.
Implement new features according to user requirements and business processes.
Create project plans from internal and customer requirements.
Identify root causes and create plans for process improvements.
Resolve customer support issues.
Set up training and knowledge sharing within the MIS team.
Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and customers.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend integration or automation to enhance business processes.
Define project objectives, deliverables, and performance metrics.
