Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a senior electrical validation engineer in Fremont, CA to perform MIPI D-PHY/C-PHY characterization and high-speed interface validation. You will configure high-bandwidth oscilloscopes, set up automated environments, and execute eye diagram, jitter, and voltage measurements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years in electrical validation and high-speed interface validation.
• Hands-on validation and compliance testing for MIPI D-PHY/C-PHY.
• Experience with high-bandwidth oscilloscopes and probe tech.
• Strong knowledge of MIPI interfaces, eye diagrams, and timing analyses.
• Proficiency in Python or similar scripting for test automation.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIPI D-PHY and C-PHY electrical characterization and testing.
• Validate MIPI DSI/DSI-2 and CSI-2 interfaces.
• Configure oscilloscopes and set up automated validation environments.
• Execute eye diagram, jitter, timing, and voltage measurements.
• Debug failures across PHY, PCB, and device configuration.
• Develop validation plans, procedures, and test reports.
• Collaborate with silicon, hardware, firmware, and system validation teams.
• Support board bring-up, silicon characterization, and production debug.
• Maintain detailed documentation of setups and results.
