Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Hardware Validation Engineer in Fremont, CA. This fulltime onsite role demands strong embedded experience and hands-on validation across hardware and software.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years in Silicon/Hardware Validation, proficient C/C++ coding, and expertise with MIPI, I2C/SPI, and debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and JTAG. A EE/CE/CS degree is required.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in Silicon/Hardware Validation, System Validation, or Embedded Systems.
• Strong programming skills in C and/or C++.
• Hands-on experience with MIPI interface validation, preferably for display products.
• Solid knowledge of I2C and SPI; experience with I3C and USB 3.0 is a plus.
• Board bring-up, hardware–software integration, and firmware validation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex hardware-software issues and drive cross-domain resolution.
• Develop or debug device drivers, bootloaders, or other low-level embedded software.
• Utilize measurement tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG, protocol analyzers) for validation.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure robust validation outcomes.
