Job summary

Coeur Wharf, part of Coeur Mining, Inc., seeks a Senior Project Engineer in Lead, SD to lead capital, sustaining capital, and infrastructure projects from concept through commissioning. You will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Process, Environmental, Supply Chain, Finance, and external contractors to keep projects safe, on schedule, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Follow all procedures and safety measures for safe production.
• Ability to work in all conditions and environments.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Experience managing capital projects from concept to commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital and sustaining capital projects from concept to commissioning.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and resources.
• Prepare charters, cost estimates, and business cases for approvals.
• Coordinate design activities with internal teams and external consultants.
• Develop and manage project schedules using PM best practices.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions to meet objectives.
• Manage contractors and vendors for safety and compliance.
• Coordinate procurement for equipment, materials, and services.
• Conduct field inspections for progress and quality.
• Support capital planning and long-range site infrastructure planning.
• Develop KPIs and monitor cost, schedule, safety, and deliverables.
• Facilitate risk assessments, constructability reviews, and hazard ID.
• Ensure regulatory and company requirements compliance.
