Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior Mineral Resource Geologist to join our US Mining team to lead geologic modeling, resource evaluation, and exploration programs across industrial and mining sectors.

The role requires broad exploration and mining experience, strong technical writing and QA/QC, and the ability to support NI43-101, JORC and SEC SK-1300 reporting. Travel to remote sites is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in Geology with MS preferred; professional qualification preferred.
• Experience in exploration and mining projects, field exploration, modeling and resource estimation.
• Strong writing and communication skills; attention to QA/QC and technical standards.
• Knowledge of NI43-101, JORC and SEC SK-1300 reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build geologic models using MinePlan, Leapfrog, Vulcan or similar tools.
• Analyze data with Access, Excel, GIS tools and related software.
• Author technical reports as Qualified Person or Competent Person as qualified.
• Manage exploration and evaluation programs and client engagement.
