Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Mineral Resource Geologist to join its U.S. Mining team in Denver, Colorado. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in exploration and mining operations, coupled with the ability to provide resource exploration and modeling solutions.

This role involves building geologic models, analyzing data, and contributing to business development. The position requires at least a B.S. in Geology, with preference for candidates holding an M.S. degree and 10 to 15 years of experience.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years of experience in mineral resource geology.
• Strong understanding of NI43-101 and JORC reporting standards.
• Willingness to pursue P.G. or Q.P. within two years.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret data using GIS and database tools.
• Author independent technical reports as Qualified Person.
