Qualifications

• 5–10 years of supervisory experience in mining operations or large-scale earthworks.
• Ability to manage production schedules and adjust plans based on changing ground, weather, or equipment conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop practical, safe solutions to complex operational challenges.
• Highly effective communicator who can tailor messaging to operators, engineers, clients, and leadership teams.
• Collaborative leader who builds teamwork, accountability, and a positive safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mining and earthworks operations per mine plans, shift instructions, safety standards, and policies.
• Optimize equipment utilization, labor efficiency, and material resources.
• Enforce safety protocols that meet mining requirements.
• Monitor production schedules to meet daily, weekly, and long-range targets.
• Review supplier and subcontractor invoices for accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Hire and develop hourly mine-site employees with the Project Manager.
• Prepare production changes and scope modifications with client representatives as needed.
• Lead planning meetings with Maintenance and Operations teams to ensure equipment readiness.
