Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in Warrenton, GA is seeking an experienced Millwright to support our Lumber facility. You will work on high-speed production equipment, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and drive reliability across the mill.

Starting pay is $34+ per hour based on experience and skill set, with a $2500 sign-on bonus. Overtime opportunities are available. Relocation benefits may be available, and retention bonuses are offered based on performance.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in wood products or industrial maintenance in manufacturing, production, or military environment.
• Experience reading blueprints and performing precision measurements.
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including reading hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Support high-speed production equipment including conveyors, motors, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and automated production lines.
• Perform reliability and maintenance work on heavy industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance aligned with the facility’s maintenance strategy.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures, identify root causes, and implement effective repairs.
• Partner with operations to prioritize maintenance needs and improve equipment performance.
• Follow all plant safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
