Heitkamp Construction Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor – Millwright in Wahpeton, ND to lead maintenance operations and supervise skilled technicians. You will plan schedules, troubleshoot complex machinery, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across facilities.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, hands-on expertise with industrial equipment, and strong leadership and communication skills to drive reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, millwright work, or related industrial role.
• Strong understanding of maintenance practices, equipment repair, troubleshooting, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead teams and coordinate with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee maintenance activities, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Lead, mentor, and support maintenance technicians while prioritizing safety and continuous improvement.
• Conduct inspections of facilities, machinery, and equipment to identify issues and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate downtime with internal departments and contractors to minimize disruptions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and work performed.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and support routine repairs to prevent equipment failures.
• Respond to urgent maintenance needs to reduce downtime and ensure safe operations.
• Keep work areas organized and ready for use.
